As you may know Covid-19 is on the loose and causing many to stay at home and self-quarantine, hence bringing lots of free time. In times like this it is just the perfect opportunity to experiment with recipes, find new hobbies, and bake lots of cakes! I myself have found a new hobby - felting! - but let's not get to off topic. Now many of you are probably bored out your minds, but it's best to use this global pandemic to our advantage, and really start baking (or other activities if baking isn't your thing)! I've got a few cake decor, designs, and techniques that I would like to challenge you with, for those of you who are trying to find something new, and exciting!
For my first challenge I have to offer, it's the hidden message cake! The hidden message cake, is a fun and thrilling cake to eat, make, and enjoy! This cake is one of my all time favorites, because I just love the sheer surprise of joy on peoples face when they cut open this cake! For the hidden message cake, you could also put planets or stars, by making cake balls, and putting them in before you bake! This is such a wonderful idea that I had to recommend!
For my second challenge, I highly recommend the fault line cake! This absolutely gorgeous and sophisticated cake is such a delight when it's all put together! The fault line cake is not necessarily the easiest cake to master, depending whether or not you're a perfectionist, but either way this cake is ever so delicious!
For my third and final challenge that I would recommend is the mirror-glaze geode-cake! This cake is not just a mirror cake, or a geode cake, but both combined resulting into it's own unique twist, and deliciousness. The mirror-glaze geode cake, is probably the hardest challenge I have to offer, but with a some effort and a little bit of perseverance, this cake is all the more reason you should challenge yourself into making an absolutely gorgeous cake!
